Description

"Baku & Back is a visual travelogue in which the prolific Swiss artist Ingo Giezendanner (aka GRRR) chronicles his long journey from Zurich, Switzerland to Baku, Azerbaijan using nothing but his pen and paper. The resulting series of drawings illustrates both the excitement and boredom of train travel. Chaotic cityscapes give way to barren fields, which lead the eye to the train's interior and back out again into new cities, lush mountainsides, and scenes viewed outside the train or bus's mitigating window."
